Fundraiser listing policy

How fundraisers are listed on DUNYA, what we verify, and what we never allow.

Version of 22 October 2026

Our role

DUNYA lists fundraisers hosted on established third-party platforms to help people discover them. DUNYA never collects, holds or transfers donations, takes no commission and receives no payment for listing or featuring a fundraiser.

What we verify — and its limits

Before a listing is published, our team reviews it: the link points to a recognised platform, the organiser information is consistent, and the description meets this policy. This is a reasonable review, not an audit. We cannot guarantee how funds are used. Please do your own checks before giving.

Prohibited fundraisers

  • Anything linked to violence, terrorism or its financing, or to sanctioned persons or entities.
  • Hate, discrimination or harassment.
  • Fraud, impersonation, misleading claims or fake urgency.
  • Unlawful activities, weapons, or anything contrary to the law of the countries concerned.
  • Personal commercial ventures presented as charity.

Featuring

Some approved fundraisers may be featured editorially. Featuring is never paid and is not an endorsement.

Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove a listing at any time if it breaches this policy, if the external page changes, or after credible reports. Organisers can ask for corrections or removal through the contact page.
